So you have a one iPad classroom. Now what? Free yourself from always standing in front of your class and lecturing. This course is designed to teach you how to increase student learning and engagement using your iPad as a powerful multimedia instructional tool. We will explore using the iPad as a mobile teaching station by wirelessly mirroring your iPad display on your computer/Smartboard or computer/projector. Use iPad apps to enhance and enrich your instruction. The Plickers app powers up formative assessment with a simple scan of the classroom. The Educreations app is a tool to screencast teacher or student explanations of a concept or process. Use the iPad camera to project student work, prompting in depth, efficacious discussions. (Note: You must have a district inventoried iPad. You can check for the district sticker or engraving on the back of your device.)
